I called ABC today and they haven't heard from Denny for months. They sent him the contract nearly a year ago and it has not been returned. Apparently this is the second rally they have had major issues with him.

I e-mailed Denny today asking for an explaination. We will see if he responds.

Made reservations for brother and I anyway. Will be pissed if I have to pay double.

I will give Denny a chance to come through, but if he thinks he is getting away with my money, guess again!

I actually got to talk to Denny on the phone last night. He says everything is OK but he is supposed to call the campground today and make sure the arrangements are in order. I have gotten two entirely different stories here.

Time will tell, but I made reservations on my own anyway.Edited by: BipeFlier

I had to make some adjustments to the Branson rally. I am returning the money all have paid toward the Branson rally this year. To get the site discount, meals ect; the campground requires 10 units. So far, there have only been 6 units register. Last year, I had 9 units and paid for the 10th unit out of my pocket to get all the rally "perks". I can't afford to pay 4 units out of my pocket. So everyone will be responsible for paing their own portion to the campground. I hope everyone that has registered for the rally will still be attending, and apologize for any inconveince. I tried to work something out with the campground, but was unsuccessful in my attempts. I hope everyone understands, but the circumstances are out of my control and I have tried my best to resolve this with the campground.

well...lets put it this way...after driving for 1000 miles we did not let any changes keep us from enjoying ourselves and meeting new friends....the weather was good, had plenty to eat and drink and the friendship was wonderful....we enjoyed meeting everyone and sitting around having good conversation and we learned a few things about camping, places to go, trailer maintenance, got some good ideas, etc...overall we had a really good time with all who were able to make the trip...and look forward to seeing everyone again somewhere on the road....and all are welcome to stop by central Virginia anytime they are close at hand and are welcome to camp in the upper 40... just a note....during our two weeks on the road we saw and met a total of 13 different crossroads cruiser owners at various campgrounds...and that was enjoyable too!
