Kitchen Lights start fan

We have a 2012 26RK Crossroads Cruiser 5th wheel. When we use any of the lights in the kitchen area, it starts a fan in the electrical panel below the utensil drawers. Is that normal? If not, does anybody know what would cause that?

Is that where your converter is located? If that is the fan - mine does the same - provides cooling for the converter.

The cause is the current draw of incandescent lamps. I switched all my lamps to LED's and now I can have all lights on and not hear the fan. Food for thought.

Yes, it is the converter. I feel better knowing that others experience the same thing.

The new Leds draw less but they also made the converters smaller less amps so the fan will run its normal, to cool.
