Bike transport inside trailer

After searching online and all kinds of bike racks we settled on transporting bikes
By mounting fork mounts on the dinette bench with cushions off that can be flipped over when not in use. Here is a pick of one, we are going to add more and stagger them as well as put some eye hooks on the rear side to attach bungee cord to extra secure the rear although it is very secure

That is a great idea! We just got a cruiser aire and no where inside to put the bikes.... this is perfect - great idea!! Can't wait to try this!

I like it! Although I would put something over the table so the bike tire doesn't mar it.

What are you using for the fork mount?

fork mounts

I made my own pickup mount for bikes using this one.

http://www.amazon.com/Hollywood-Rack...ike+fork+mount

It would work perfect for that application as well.

Also, a quick tip, If you want to mount more than one, with the handlebars at the same end. Rotate the mounts a bit so the handlebars are at an angle to the frame, Then they won't interfere with each other.
