Oh wow, sorry to hear you changed the dates I am staying in WI and have to be out of here on the 14th of October and planned to head to Comlara thinking the fall rally was the 19th to the 21st. I have to be in Texas by November 1st to arrange for my surgery there so this won't work for us. I'm so glad you posted this Tom as tomorrow I was going to arrange all my other stays on the way to Texas. Now I'll have to rethink that and plan a little differently. Sorry we won't be able to make it we have been so looking forward to it.

Thanks for the info we will try to make it since we weren't able to make the factory rally. We enjoy camping at this campground.

Yes...I apologize for the late notice. When I verified the dates over labor day weekend, I noted that they were a week later which surprised us as well. I did not make our reservations this year and was going by what I had been told by our friend that made them for us back in April. I did not get an explanation on why the fall colors event was moved back a weekend this year when I talked to the staff. The weekend of fall colors, Oct. 18-19-20, is COMPLETELY BOOKED with NO sites available. I know that the new date will not work for some...guess I should have verified the dates sooner
I will monitor the feedback and see how the participation goes....Please pass the word to those whom might be coming.

Loren and I are going to try and be there. We have not had the camper out at all this year. To many road blocks, lol.

Tom,
Do you plan on having this no matter the turn out because right now I see only about 4 campers including us. We plan on going no matter what. I hope to see more people make it, I think everyone will like the campground. What restaurant were you thinking for Saturday night? Let me know if you need any assistance with getting this set up.

You BET.. we will be there regardless of the number of folks. Right now I am thinking Baxters in Bloomington...a little upscale, but we can always pick something else too...I am totally flexible...

Tom,
OK, sounds good to me, Thinking about getting there Thursday after work, we would still have to work on Friday, but at least we would be set up and ready to go on Friday evening.

I am sorry to say we (Loren and Cheryl) will not be there. Loren had surgery in June after months of knee issues. He is recovering well, but lets face it. Camping is work and he just is not ready to be jumping in and out of the camper. We had a heart to heart chat and decided it is better to be safe for this season. Watch out next year!!

We put the camper to bed for the winter, first year we have not gone at all. You all have FUN and light a camp fire for us.

As of now temps look to be high 40's on Thursday-Friday with Sun and lows in low to mid 30's. Saturday is partly sunny with high of 53 and a low of 36. Dinner reservations are for 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Baxter's. We will convoy/truck pool from the campground. Here is a link:

http://www.baxtersgrille.com/our-menu/

Truck is loaded with firewood and more wood is only 15-minutes away if supplies run low. I do still have to work during the day, but I will have the camper out by Wednesday at the latest. There might be a few other SOB's join us from people that we camp with around Bloomington, but nothing is confirmed.
See ya all soon...

I plan on getting off work at 12 and hope to be out at the campground by 2. Not sure if we will go out to eat on Saturday with everyone. Thinking about smoking a brisket for dinner. Hope everyone has a safe trip to the campground and looking forward to seeing everyone.
