There was some shows on the Travel/Discovery Channels about that class of RV. They are entirely self sufficient and are built to go where our RV's fear to tred. Most of them have solar panels on the roofs, big fuel tanks, generators, redundant systems.

They are built to "excusion" standards.

Saw this cowhide paint job the other day
hope the pictures do it justice - it was quite realistic !

Even the slide sides were 'cowhide'
