We have moved to Cedar City, Utah. This KOA is very nice, not as crowded as the last one. We have much bigger sites. Yesterday we did a couple of hikes, one in Red Canyon and another one in Bryce Canyon. Tomorrow we are off to Zion National Park. Again, I tried to upload some pictures, but again, it didn't work. Maybe I need to re-size the pictures. I will try again later.

Here are my recent pictures. The first one is a view of Bryce Canyon Amphitheater from above. The second one is the slot canyon at the bottom of the Navajo Hiking trail. The third one I took today and it took a bit of setting up. It is our trailer passing under one of the arches on Utah Road 12.

Yesterday we were at Zion National Park. Pictures do not do a scene like this justice! They do not allow private vehicles past a certain point, you have to take the shuttle bus. Unfortunately, the buses are hot and often crowded, and you cannot take pictures just anywhere, only at the stops. Also, you cannot do a "dashcam tour" which we have done in other places. I also took pictures of a motorhome from France which was parked there. I posted that under a different thread.

Today we saw Kolob Canyon, which is in the northern and less traveled part of Zion National Park. It has great scenery and you can actually see it because you can drive this part. The southern part of Zion is closed to cars and you have to take a shuttle bus. From the bus it is difficult to see everything.

We also drove the part of Zion that you can drive and went through the tunnel. The surprise was that the scenery changed completely on the other side of the tunnel! Instead of towering rocks, there were smaller hills with lots of layers of rock. Very different!

The first picture is Kolob Canyon and the second one is what it looks like after you go through the tunnel.

This is Cedar Breaks National Monument. Not as impressive as Bryce Canyon, but pretty nonetheless. A great view as well, although rain was starting to move in from the west. Today we are moving to Jacob Lake, AZ for a few days so we can visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and Antelope Canyon at Page. We may not have WiFi there.

We are in Page, AZ for the day. No internet at Jacob Lake where we are staying so we are at McDonald's. We saw Antelope Canyon this morning. It is the most amazing thing I have seen on this trip. I will post pictures when we get to Flagstaff (moving tomorrow).

I am using a Sony WX350, just got it in June. I have to re-size the pictures from over 4,000 to 2,000 pixels to post. I like this camera because it is small and I can put it in my pocket. The pictures are as good as, if not better at times than the ones my husband takes with his Canon SX40.

Utah is a beautiful place. We are hoping to move that way. I just have to find a job out that way first.
