Is there enough room on rear bumper to install spare , instead of under coach on Pat. model

Yep, I did it on my SK30 and it works fine. I actually had the dealer install it when I took delivery. There have been comments on here about possibly causing a weakness in the bumper welds but I've certainly had no problems over 9,000 miles of some really terribleMidwesternroads last summer.

Not sure if the bumper can take the weight and you will reduce your pin weight by 100-150 lbs.

On our '07 30sk the bumper had angle iron gussets welded from bumper to frame. On our '10 30sk no gussets. Wouldn't have worried about the '07, but wouldn't try it with the '10.

I just installed one on my 2011 315RE . In feels very solid on there so I dont anticipate any problems. THe 16" tire and rim wieghs 65 pounds so I dont know what dthe actual difference will be on the pin wieght given that 65 pounds is now 10 feet behind the axles
