I am in the process of upgrading to a Crossroads Kingston. Went to the show this past week-end and was talking to one of the dealers and he just about talked me out of considering the KF305B. He told me that the were really hard to tow. The reason I was interested in that particular model is it is only 32.5 ft long and I need to stay as short as possible because I pull a boat. I also wanted the washer/dryer availability and the second air conditioner. The dealerrecommended the KF33 but it is 3 ft longer. Does anyone out there tow the KF305 and how does it handle?

That dealer is full of it. What would be the reason a 35' would pull any better running down the road than a 32'? We had a 32' Cruiser before our 35' Paradise Pointe and other than weight there is no difference pulling down the highway. I say buy what you want and not from that salesman.

We have a Kingston 34 TB and it pulls great, it is much better than our 30ft Cougar we sold. I would look at another dealer I do not know what his motives are other than to have you spend more money on a bigger fifth. Good luck

If you do decide to buy one be sure you check with Lippert before you have a hitch put on the back of the trailer. They are probably going to tell you your frame warranty will be void if you do. I wanted to put a reciever hitch on the back of ours to haul a bike rack and two bikes and was told if I did they would void my frame warranty.

We have the KF30SB and it tows great. 7 weeks and over 6000 miles last summer and not one issue. Towing or backing intocampsites. I think the dealer had a different "more expensive" unit he wanted you to buy. I have also used the factory repair facility and they did a super job. The power awning they put on was awesome. Randy M. and the crew at Crossroads are great.

We had a KF30 SB and it towed great. We now have a 2010 KF33SK and there is no difference in the towing but there is quite a bit of difference in wiggling the thing around fuel stations and smaller campgrounds. It's just too big for our needs and the fact the we are primarily weekend campers, we arecurrently try to sell our KF33SK and going back to a KF30SB. The KF30SB is a nice rig! However if you really want a KF33SK, I know where you can buy a slightly used 2010 KF33SK at a price you would love.

we pickup our 30SB next tuesday. Ill let you know how it tows. We bought the 30SB for the same reason you are looking at them. 6000lb axles and 10" frame are also pluses for towing. Not to worried about the frame waranty

a Bit late to the reply party, my apologies. We have the same unit. Tows great, we tend to forget we are towing. Towed it to Yellowstone and back last year (details in the Kingston thread). The dealer was either full of it or had another motive for giving you that rubbish info.
