Mystery switch

Hi there

I just recently purchased the sunset trail 242BH. It's a 20/20 model.. up in the cabinet above the TV there is a switch on the ceiling right next to the cable TV hookup and I can't figure out what it does.. I sent a message to the dealer and they have no idea either...

Any ideas??

Mine works without my booster on, but works a lot better with it on.

Ok. I guess that is what it is . Can't see what else would be by the tv..

Next question. Does the antenna booster work on 12v battery?

I have been chasing down a battery drain when unplugged from 30 amp.

The booster should not have a draw when off. The radio and the gas detector are a draw. If you do not have one you may want to add a battery disconnect for when it is in storage. If you store it at home just leave it plugged in.

I sent an email into crossroads.. they said that it's "probably" the key tv switch... They didn't have a definitive answer...

Yes, the antenna booster runs on 12VDC, and would add a very small drain on the battery if not turned off.

Mystery switch

Yep. That’s you’re antenna booster. Just picked up our 2021 Sunset trail 212RB. I asked about that switch during the PDI. Do you have the 12 volt norcold fridge?

I agree, if you don’t have a battery disconnect. Add one!

Switch in cabinet

That switch powers on the pre wired air30+ and once you install the gateway, if you can figure out how as I'm still struggling wilth it, you get 4g late access. but the 242bh doesnt have the access spot inside so I do know where to place the gateway. Reads like you have to open the 360+ on the roof, but My air 360+ is sealed with no screws to remove it unless I break the seals

After a ton of research I found that you are correct. It's for the air 360. I was wondering about the install of the router myself. But I can find any screws to open up the antenna either.

Thanks for responding!

I'm debating breaking the seal and removing the air360 to see what's there. Ill.post of I do.. I'm still hesitant, going to to try a few more things to make sure I'm just not missing something simple. Seems like it shouldn't be this difficult
