tank water supply - 38ts

Time for another question. Filled the water tanks. Opened the faucets. Turned on the pump. Water discharges from city water connection but not faucets. This is the first time we've used the tanks for water. Am I missing a valve somewhere?

bingo....I had read about a one way valve but was expecting something in line, not at the connection. Upon looking down the connection I noticed a spring but no nipple. The previous owner had it permanently set up so I don't know if they may have removed it for some reason, or if has just come out over time. Guess I'm headed to the RV place in the morning. Thanks for your help.

We learned the hard way when the valve busted on a dry camping trip and heard something splashing on the other side of the camper, just to find a stream coming out of the connection.
Went to a local Ace Hardware and picked up a couple of 3/4" NHT plugs to fix temporarily. One extra as a spare.
