Is there any permanent identification on a Crossroads product? If someone removed the license plate and the sticky is there any way to prove the unit is yours? Also curious when (at what point in the manufacturing) is the sticky is placed on the unit showing date of manufacturer, model, weights, etc. I have a 2010 Kingston on order and assume that they begin manufacturing the 2010 units sometime in May. Rather than waiting for the appropriate time in the process for the build of my unit, why couldn't they just take a 2009 that may be sitting around and replace the sticky with 2010 info? I do not believe there is going to be any design changes during the switch from 2009 - 2010. This is not a major issue with me but curious. I'm assuming the same questions could apply to farm tractors, combines, industrial equipment, etc.

Try looking on the side of your pin box there should be a stamp on it with the complete 17 digit VIN # about 3/8" stamp- may be filled with paint and hard to see. I dont know how trailer manuf.'s get away with calling md. yr. the next years model.

In the automotive industry the deadline is Oct. and later can have the next md yr. if completed before it keeps the same model yr. my 2009 xroad 31qb didnt get the 09 updates and I purchased in april 08 ? go figure

In July of 06 we ordered a 2007 CT28FB. We were told that CR is closed the week of the 4th and when they return They start oon the next year model. Mine came in with the owners manual had 2006 with a line scratched through and hand written 2007.I think your ordered unit will be a 2009 with 2010 stickers.

I agree, the VIN # is stamped on the side of the pin box, well until you replace it with an aftermarket pin box. I'm not sure about the VIN # on TT's.
