I don't guess I've ever had any dealings with a Schwintek slide, and it sounds like I should be glad.

Will never have one again. You can see some of my postings and see why. The design is probably OK but it needs the correct application of the design.

Hoping for an event free camping season. Still parked for the winter.

Good luck with it, Bob. Hope all your woes are behind you with the slide. Two things I will avoid like the plague on my future units: Schwintek and Lippert.

Schwintek is a Lippert Product

Lippert is buying up everything from frame companies like Dexter to leveling systems like Reico Titan Ground Control to slide systems like Schwintek.

Same reason airplanes are riveted and not welded, you need flex. I also believe the new was are not a cage but are laminated with aluminum studs. i had a cage and not a 2014 seems great.

All I have to say is my Cruiser 5th wheel was built in 08 and I haven't had one issue is good enough for me. This is second crossroads product and the Sunset Trail before it was just as good so I rest my case.

That's good to hear. I think people tend to forget that people tend to vent about problems on a forum. Therefore they tend to get a negative perception of a product. Good to hear positive comments too.
