Seriously considering Cruiser FW

Hello,
I am new to this forum.
We are seriously considering purchasing a 2014 or 2015 CF305RS or CF315RL Fifthwheel.

My preference is the 315RL.
Anyone outthere have that floorplan ?
If so, are you happy with it ? any bugs ?

Any guidance with this model would be greatly appreciated.

Merci

I can't say about the newer ones, but I will say that if they are built anything like my 2007, they are a very well built RV except for the Lippert axles and suspension. There are things about the Cruiser that you don't usually see in an RV of that price point, like hung wall construction, the gorilla cage, marine grade plywood flooring (believe me, that's a huge deal if you have a leak), rolled roof, etc. If they are still building them like they built mine, I don't think you could go wrong. As I mentioned, the one complaint I have with my Cruiser is that they put a really good trailer on a puny suspension.

Edit: I have heard rumors that they are going away from the hung wall construction and going to laminated sidewalls. Most other RV manufacturers use this type of construction, but if you have roof seam or window seal leak, it can cause the sidewall to de-laminate, which is very expensive to repair. I hope those rumors aren't true.

Merci....Both have great floorplans. I own a 2013 CF305SKP which has the same floorplan as the 315RL. The only major difference I can see is the 315 is two feet longer than my 305, and the rectangular tub instead of corner shower. I can walk to the back of the my camper with the slides closed, and open my refrigerator. Every camper is going to have bugs. We have had a few minner issues nothing major. My wife and I ABSOLUTLY LOVE our 305SKP, and it's open floorplan.

OK now as far as the CF305RS. Looks like a great floorplan. The only question I would have is: with the slides in the closed position would you have to climb over the island to get to the refrigerator, and the back of the camper???

Also Mike did not mention the Cruiser is very well insulated.

Good luck with your choice.
