Hi all,
I am looking for some help on our new 2013 Zinger 31SB. The problem we are having is when using the shower water runs along the top of the tub and then leaks down onto the floor. I feel there should be a lip on the tub to force the water back into the tub. Camping world said they contacted crossroads and they won't fix it. Has anyone else had this issue? I feel it should be fixed. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all for the help in advance!!

I don't think you are going to get any place looking for a fix. You must have a shower curtain there, so all you have to do to contain the water is put end of the shower curtain inside the tub.

x2. water will run out if the shower curtain isn't blocking but if the curtain is pulled to the wall no issues. you probably could run to Home Depot and get those stick on splash guards like this

I understand what you are saying but we have tried to position the shower curtain to block the water but it still runs out. That's why I say it should have a lip on the top part of yhe tub to force water back into the tub. On our previous zinger the tub was molded with the lip so water ran back. We always use the shower curtain inside the tub.

we are having the same issue on out new 32QB. What i noticed is the front and back end of the tube are "Thick" and stick out. These catch the water and run pass the shower curtain. If you notice your tub at home, the thickness under the facuet and at the rear is thinner than the sides are. I purchased the sick on "fins" and that actually looks trashy since they dont fit flush. I'm currently loking for a solution to this issue. If there were a "rail" that ran along the front of the tub that would correct this. I have actually thought about installing something like this to channel the water back into the tub.

I had the same problem on an older prowler I had I found that the outer edge of the tub was lower than the inner edge so I took out a couple screws an raised up the out side edge so water would run back in the tub hope this helps

Your trailer might be leaning a little to the front/bad side of your bathtub. My tub ran water outside when the back left corner was slightly higher than the other 3 corners. Stabilizer jacks might correct this if its minor.

Thanks for the help. The camper was level. We installed some stick on fins from home depot for now. Looks stupid. We called crossroads and they said they changed vendors for the tubs in the new models and are going to look into the problem. As of now they said they would get us the tub with the lip under warranty but would not cover cost of labor. So we are now talking with CW.

we"re having the same problem with our 32qb. I bought the same littledeflector things from HD.. I siliconed them in. It held almost all summer and did the job. Just another design flaw by CR !! I've come across a bunch but I do still love our camper.

More of a design flaw of the crappy RV suppliers. CrossRoads doesn't make the tubs - they just buy a bunchof them from a single vendor - same ones all RV manufacturers use. There is only so much choice. Someone probably gave them a great deal on those tubs and in the end they were probably a poor design - unfortunate thing in the industry these days due to the large quantity being manufactured that quality among pretty much all of their suppliers has slipped.

Our previous 5 trailers all had that crappy design tub. Lots of towels on the floor with 4 kids.
Funny that our new Z1 has a tub with a lip on it..
Happy Happy Happy now!

Don't think this happened. Still using the same tubs...

My new 2015 TT tub did the same thing when my wife took a shower. I walked by the bathroom while she was showing and saw a pool of water starting to come out from under the bathroom door and had to place towels on the floor next to the tub. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet since we have only spent one shake down night in the TT so far but its on my list of things to do.

Any news from the OP on what happened with you getting a new tub?

Ditto on tub issue/supplier problem.

I would guess CR changed tub supplier in 2013. Our 2012 Zinger had the lip (very nice). Our 2014 does not (kinda sucks).

I have the 2015 310 SB and I have no issues. Would like to get a better curtin and rod installed. That little track is pretty crappy. They make Magnets that can be glued to the walls and the curtin. I found best just wet the wall and curtian it sticks tight enogh for your shower.

I had the same problem with mine the first few times out. I went to Lowes and bought a pack of these shower guards. I also used silicon all the way around the top of the tub and haven't had a problem since. Just make sure you clean the surface really good so it all sticks, I did need to re do mine.
