Funky thermostat?

We have used our new trailer 2 weekends now and the furnace works but it is like it has it's own agenda, it never gets to the set temp, maybe 10F lower, it comes on for a short time then shuts off. Is there a known problem with the thermostat? It's a digital Coleman-Mack.
Haven't been in for warranty work yet so will add it to the list.
Thanks for listening.

Is there a heat register blowing toward the thermo? If so that would cause the furnace to think it is done. re-direct the register if it is blowing at it.

If the thermostat never gets to set point could the furnace be shutting off on an over temperature fault. Then restarting when it cools off. The furnace may need a good inspection.

Thanks for the reply, there is a register, but there is no moveable vents, guess I could block off part of it. Going for warranty work after Thanksgiving, we'll see what the dealer says.
Cheers.

I installed closable registers and that helped as ours did the same thing. Seems to shut down due to over temp before reaching the set temp. It still does it a little bit.

You don't have to block it off, you still want flow of heat, so just get a plastic register redirecter that sits on top and aims air along the floor.
