Last week I turned a corner too tight and clipped the corner of the rangers shed, I wasn't the first it was too tight of a corner for a big rig.
I'm home now and need to repair it. It looks like it caved in the rounded aluminum edge as well as tore the rubber. I plan to use Eternabond to fix the holes but is there anything I can do to restore the rounded shape of the edge?
I was thinking about some sort of foam or Bondo but it would be tricky.
Also what sort of sealer should I use along the back edge where it meets the corner?
Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

Not to worry things happen. Eternabond is a good solution. I don't think bondo or foam is a workable solution. Otheres will comment with more info. Hope you had a good trip otherwise.

Maybe a little body filler and then cover with Eternabond
Been there done that - when we went from a motor home to a fifth wheel - I hit the side of a delivery truck - about $6000.00 for the repair. Took the dealer 1 1/2 months for the repairs - mostly because of parts delays from the factory.

If I do that I wonder if it would be OK to "slit" the rubber the length of the cut to reshape the roof and still make a good solid seal with E-Bond?

I had a similar issue after scraping a cut off tree limb that was hidden by leaves from another branch. I was 1500 miles from home and asked the park ranger if he knew anybody that did mobile repairs which he did. The service came out and pulled the gutter off to free up the rubber roof. They reshaped the aluminum to original shape, took a roll of roof material and completely covered the damaged area, caulked and reassembled gutter. It looks almost as good as new except for a slight shading difference due to the new material but that will get better with time. It cost me about $450.00 and they gave me the balance of the roll of roofing material in case I needed to patch anything in the future which I hope I don't. The roof material is expensive. Hope this helps. Bruce
