Okay folks I know this post is early but it is rally time in Texas again. I have been ask by several people if I was ever going to try and organize another Texas Crossroads Rally, well let’s see how many people would be interested in attending one in the Spring of 2011 (March or April). We will be holding the rally at Buckhorn Lake Resort about 3 to 5 miles outside of Kerrville, Tx. on 3/25 -3/27 2011(See web site below) They have agreed to put us all together in one area and we will have access to the Road House hospitality building for our potluck dinner. If we get 15 or more rigs signed up the daily rate will be $31 per day instead of the normal $35. This is a great park and very well kept and the staff is always great to work with. The rally loop will hold 13 rigs and once those are full they can put people in the sites next to it. Once again, when you make your reservations please send me an email so I can keep up with the new site attendees. I think this place will work out better in the long run. The resort also does a short order breakfast on Saturday mornings for anyone that would like to take advantage of that (like me).

Not sure what to expect at a RV Rally as we've never been to one. Took delivery of a Crossroads Slingshot this spring and have really enjoyed getting out to the parts and such.

Spring would be a good time and the park you've provided a link to looks nice. We're in Houston, so it's not that far.

Be interested to see whatresponses you get.

We would like to come as it would be our first rally. Georgetown is not far from SA. Thanks for getting this going.

I would say so far we have enough interest to get this thing together. So what say we look at doing this 3/25 - 3/27 of 2011? I will give the post another week or so to see what kind of response I get and at that pointI will call the park and get the rally information setup and people can call and book reservations. I have already talked to the park and they told me the earlier we can get things booked they can make arrangements to put us all together in one area of the park.

Sounds like a plan coming together. Toni and Meanette will put it on our calendar. I'll keep watching here for any forthcoming actions necessary.

Keith,

As you and I have already discussed, Eileen and I should be able to make the Rally, especially if it is in late March or late April.

There are now plenty of CR dealers in the Central Tx area, so maybe a rep. could combine a visit to nearby dealers with attending the rally. Just a thought.

Ok folks, I called the park this morning and they now have us on file as the Crossroads group for the rally with the dates of 3/25 - 3/27 pf 2011. If you would refer to that when you call to make your reservations and also send me an email so I can get you on my list.Right now they have 8 sites blocked off but will increase that if those fill up and more people call to make reservations. Below is the information for the park and my email address. Looks like we are off to a great start!
