RV show

This weekend is the RV show in Kansas City MO. I'm going there with the idea to trade in my unit, as I stay in it about 200 nights a year.
There aren't any crossroads dealers in my area , so I probably wont be a member much longer. I have learned a lot here since I bought my crossroads RV. I just want to thank everyone for their input here, I have really enjoyed it. Thanks again!!

Just because you don't have o be doesn't mean you can't stay. Many have moved on to another brand but stay here for the camaraderie and to offer advice, myself included.

There is an RV show here in Tampa and we were there yesterday. Our daughter and I are going again today and she will be doing some videos for RV Travel. We ran into Andy Cripe yesterday (president of Crossroads). We had met him at the rally last year. He is now president of several other companies and he appeared somewhat stressed.

We also ran into Al Hesselbart, the former curator of the RV/MH Hall of fame. He is now retired and traveling around in his 1978 Newmar motorhome.

The Tampa RV is the largest one around.

As previously stated, you certainly don't, and shouldn't feel you have to leave the forum because you have a different brand RV.
I have enjoyed your input here on the forum as I'm sure others have.

If you use your rig primarily for a work motel and it's not busted down and worn out, why would you want to trade it in on something you have to start fixing on all over again?
You've done a lot of work on this one and you probably understand it pretty well by now. In other words, you've got the bugs ironed out.
So why buy yourself more work?

Advice for the systems on the Rv are pretty similar from brand to brand. Same thing with winterizing and other stuff. Staying in contact with this forum would be a benefit to all.

I purchased a 2015 Grand Design Reflection 337 RL at the show yesterday. I was impressed that they had a factory rep at the show . We thought that the over all Quality was better , But if you read their forum , they have issues too. Time will tell .
I think I will stay on this forum. Alot of good info here. I just hope Lloyds not right and I bought a new set of headaches.

Congrats on the new rig!!
I also hope I was wrong, and it serves you well.
If my memory serves me right, Grand Design is a relatively new company out there. Seems like they started up 3 -4 years ago.
Nice to hear you will be sticking around.

Congrats on the new camper, and glad to hear you decided to stick around the forum...

Went to the Edison N.J RV show yesterday...It was very good, plenty of campers...I was affraid it would be small and not worth the drive, but turned out to be an all day affair and well worth the drive...

Gran Design is a new company. Everyone says the bend over back wards to take care of any problems. They also hand pick their dealers. I guees the company was started by two front office people who left Keystone and started their own company. Time will tell

They have a nice looking rig. I was just looking over some of the specs on them.
I have to say, they are as bad as some of the other Cos. with that four season claim. I wish they would all stop the BS on that subject. A good three seasons in my part of the country would be stretching it.

Enjoy, and let us know how things go if you would
When do you take possession?

crossroads dealer

There is a crossroads dealer less than 15 miles from the RV show that was in KC. Called Jayhawk camper sales in Shawnee Ks about 2 miles south of Bonner Springs. Been a dealer for years.
