Spring winterizing

Took the first trip of the year.It usually is to St Vrain State Park near home.Got most of our Elk hunting crew together and had a great weekend. We brought our compressor along and only One trailer did not take advantage of it to blow out before returning home,(he was gonna get his when he got home he was in a hurry).19 degrees last night at the park Deanna and I blew the old Trailer out this morning and headed for home.1 more month and we will be able to stop the cold prep return (my name for the tween season). only a few inches of snow last night almost have good enough weather to have Fenn show up in town although its still below zero is in his old stomping grounds. I am planning on Ouray next month Frank, Deanna and I have not soaked at Box Canyon yet.

I just de-winterized mine today, and hope I don't have to do anything else for the season. Leaving a week from today for a 9 day camping trip - couple of days in South Georgia and the rest at a state park on the Florida panhandle.

We winterize earlier this month. So far so good, but now they are calling for possible tornados tomorrow. Joy. Out of the snow and ice, now we have the spring thunderstorm season and tons of yellow pollen everywhere. My white truck is now yellow. No use washing it, the pollen is so thick you can see the yellow stuff floating in the air and any clean vehicle (no matter what color) will be completely yellow within an hour or two.

Aileen, we stayed at a campground in Connecticut last May and they had trees that dropped that yellow pollen. It was everywhere, and some of the permanent sites had the little "huts" you park your car under to keep it off of them...seems they knew better. The people who owned the campground were gracious enough to let me wash it down in the park, after the pollen stopped flying. Luckily we were there for a week so it worked out well for us. Funny thing was I never did find out what type of tree they were

Brake lines are repaired on the truck, picked it up yesterday, my dealer called and said the annual inspection was done so we pick it up next week. Because we full-time we need to decide when to pack it up because once we move everything from this apartment into the RV we're on the road for good again.

Travel well,
Jim

Jim - sounds like you are feeling better. I have lived in nc for almost 5
Yrs, I still don't know what trees are dropping that crap and what trees have the beautiful purple flowers (not cherry or dogwood).
