Info on lippert sildes

Hello I am trying to learn more about the slides on my 2014 Sunset Trail Reserve. Both Crossroads owners manual and Lippert manual give very little info on what to if a slide won't close. Where can I find the room slide controller on my camper? How often do the components need lubricated ? Twice now the kitchen / tv slide on the right side would not move when closing the slide. After I pushed on the right slide while my wife operated the switch the slide then began to move. Is this common? I am just trying to learn a little before I'm in the middle of no where with a slide that won't close. I have the above floor slideout system.

Thanks
Bob

Thanks for the replies. I did go to you tube and watch the videos. I now understand how the slides work. They tell me there is to be a circuit board for the slides. I can not find that circuit board on my Sunset Trail Reserve. Does anyone know where it is located.

Lippert Slide Issue

bbfish- If you have the SF32RL I've attached the schematic that CR sent me when our front slideout failed this spring. It ended up that the motor on the right side of the front slideout failed and the dealer replaced it.

Thanks I found them. The two for the living area is in the pantry cupboard to the right of the frig behind a false cover. The one for the bed slide is under the bed. My model is a Sunset Trail Reserve 32RL

Thanks Fourmoor731 as always I get the schematic after I do all the foot work. Hopefully I will never have to use what I learned today. However I will put a copy of that schematic with the other paper work. I think the reason my one slide wouldn't close is because caulking oozed out from the hot weather and glued itself to the slide. I found excess caulking on the top corners of all the slides. Cleaned it off so hopefully that will fix things. How do you like your 32RL? We had some minor problems with the furnace, oven, and excess grease from the axles getting on the brakes but the dealer handled them. Towed it from Pennsylvania to Denver and back this summer and had no problems.

We love the layout of this camper and overall have been happy. We have had some other issues. The Genesis unit died completely about 4 weeks out of warranty but after a call to CR they did send a new one. The Fantastic Fan wasn't opening properly (it would keep trying to open when it already was). Called FF and they mailed out the new part right away. We did ask about the oven after using it for the first time because it doesn't heat uniformly like in previous campers.

Our oven would over temp as much as 75 degrees. Our dealer changed out the controls and it still over heated. My dealer called the manufacturer and was told "too bad that's the way they are". After I made a call to the manufacturer and exchanged a few choice words with them they agreed to send a new updated oven. It looks just like the old one but does seem to work better.
