Ok fellow Cruiser owners. There is a hole with a cap cover over it on the outside right front of our 30 SKP cruiser and I can't for the life of me figure out what it's for? We've had our trailer for 1 1/2 years now and haven't found a use for it yet. Any thoughts??

I believe that hole lines up with the end of the landing gear shaft. You should have a handle, probably the same one you would use to move your slides manually, that can be pushed into that hole to engage the landing gear manually.

I'll have to take a closeup picture of it and post it. In the meantime, I'll mention the landing gear theory to my husband..that sounds feasible as it seems to lineup with that area.

Thanks for suggestion.

Look closely at HHH's trailer. You can see the hole just in front of the awning leg. Landing gear crank....

Yep that's exactly where our "hole" is as well. Makes perfect sense that you've mentioned it. Thanks for clearing that up for us. We will appreciate that hint should the need arise to manually crank the landing gear........which is "never" I hope
