Ten months since we lost our house in a wildfire and after living in the Cruiser for seven months, we are finally heading out this week for the first time. The tpms sensors were stored in the garage, so they needed replacement. But I decided to upgrade from the old TST 510 system to the newer 507 system and go with 4 new in-wheel sensors for the Cruiser. These are supposed to have a 7 yr battery life. So today, Discount Tire installed the sensors and mounted new Goodyear Commercial T/A LT tires. I was concerned the in-wheel sensors would not have the same range as the external sensors, but they work great, no repeater needed.

Just a few days to load up the Cruiser and then escape the Texas heat for 6 weeks or so.

After living in the Cruiser for seven mo. I don't know how exciting it will be to spend more time there, but the outing/travel is "always" exciting and something to look forward to.
I hope you and the wife have a wonderful time and enjoy it.
Let us know how the new TPMS works and how things are going for you.

Lloyd,
For 4 weeks, we will be working at a camp near Durango with about 20-25 other TBM couples. And while it will be 'living' in the Cruiser, the task ends at 4 pm each day and we can relax with friends. Then probably 2 weeks in the NF outside Cloudcroft, NM with no plans except whatever we feel like doing each day. Our house is not quite finished, but I have also been helping several neighbors with their reconstruction. So, we need to get away for a break.

Dayle,
With our temps approaching records every day here in WI I was just wondering where you would be going to 'cool off' but if you're headed toward Durango I believe that is in the mountains or at least I hope it is for your sake. We're leaving for NY next Monday for NY for 2 weeks and then a week at the rally in Indiana, I am hoping the weather cools a little, you know like lower 90's or so LOL. Have a great trip and enjoy yourself.

Jim
