New Folks

This Year we purchased our first camper. 2015 Zinger 310SB so far it is nice. Got a great deal from a New Crossroads dealer in PA I just happen to drive in at the same time the Crossroads rep was there setting them up as a dealer. I was going to purchase a 2013 left over Jayco 31BH and the Dealer in my area wasn't wanting to deal very much. (wasn't happy with him) I stoped in this new dealer on my way to Harrisburg and told him about my deal. They gave me a 2015 lots upgrades- mattress, Ladder, grill and tow pagage (sway, weight dis, elect brakes) all for the same money as the 2013 Jayco. This was just coming off the Factory at the same time we had Vacation set and reservation. We eneded up getting the camper 12 hrs before we were to take the trip. lol. found a few things that needed fixed. On our way home we droped it off and they fixed it and I have to say this dealer so far has done me good. Thanks to You tube staying up at nights learning alot about this stuff helped. I am sure I will be asking many Questions so Thank You all in advanced.

I do have one question anyone ever use indoor Mine storage? I will be putting mine in starting Nov. this is the place I will be useing. http://bradysbendstorage.com/

Welcome to the forum. Never heard of mine storage but it looks interesting. One thing I would be concerned with is the section that state High Humidity. I would stay away from that. Humidity is bad for wood cabinets and promotes mildew, etc.

"When advertising significantly higher humidity", it is interesting they post the % for the climate controlled, but not the other.

Technically, they could flood the shaft (100%) and they're statement is still true.

X2 on Stans comment. As for references if you have trouble finding someone who stores there. If it isnt a problem, they should be glad to give you a couple people to call.

Very interesting concept. They lost me at several places such as: they want a set of your keys, they want propane tanks removed, they require notification to come see your unit. No way, no how for me. I will let my unit sit in an outside secured storage lot (but I am in the south). If the weather makes you nervous you can consider inside storage but many of the northern members on some of my forums do store theirs outside. The humidity only makes me a little nervous as we are in a high humidity climate down here. We did get some mold from humidity in the past. Put damp rid in to help with that.

Good luck with your new Rv and welcome to a great forum.
BTW, I had a Firebird just like the one pictured in your mine storage home page.
