Talking New Full-Timers!

Hi everyone! My husband and I recently sold our house and are full-timing in our new 2014 Cruiser Aire 31DB with our two little boys. We've never owned a camper but we've learned so much already and are looking forward to learning much more. I'm an avid interior decorator so I've already done some work to it to make it feel more like home. I'll post pictures in the proper thread.

Congratulations and good luck with the new lifestyle!

Are you planning to travel around North America? Have you been to very many places? If not, you can get lots of ideas from the members here about wonderful things to see and do in North America.

Thanks! I guess we were meant to live pretty small because it's been an easy transition for us. We hope to travel around. The whole idea of us getting an RV was the convenience of being able to pick up and go if we wanted to. For now though, we're staying close to family.

Check out my recent thread about our trip to the U.S. South West. We had an amazing trip and saw so much cool scenery! This is not far from Texas.

Was it a hard decision? Your attitude seems very positive. Best of luck on your new adventure.

It was actually a pretty easy decision. We were thinking about buying another (smaller) home, when a family member brought up the idea of an RV. We were pretty much sold on the idea from there. It's been great!

I imagine you are home schooling. We met a young couple with three children in Vermont. They informed us that there are many groups and support groups to support that lifestyle.
Enjoy the journey what a great alternative for you and the kids in our modern society. Best of luck and safe travels
Go Well.
