I am considering moving my spare tire from under the front of my 315RE Fifth Wheel and installing it with a bolt on tire carrier on the rear bumper . Does anyone know if the rear bumper is strong enough to take the weight ?

Been a whole lot of discussion on that subject. I believe the general consensus is --no it's not.
If you do a search for that subject you find some more answers/ideas.

Although a lot of people think no I believe if you put it close to the frame the bumper should hold. Crossroads or my dealer put one on my Zinger before I bought it new in 07. I would not put a bike rack back there however. I don't think you can hook bikes down tight enough to stop bouncing.
