Random Hose

My 33RL is currently at the dealership for warranty work and I have listed a random hose as one of the items to be repaired. I found this while I was inspecting the waterheater. It connects to the water pump and seems like sometype of bypass hose. The problem is it had a small amount of water coming out of it, which was running out on the floor. The other end of the hose is attached to a valve, which is open. Is this normal? If the dealer does not take care of it, I plan to run it out the bottom of the floor so it doesnt drain inside. This is within the passthru storage area.

I think it's the suction hose that goes in the jug of pink stuff when you winterize.

I am guessing by your description it is in fact your siphon hose. That valve should be OFF when using your camper. Probably why it is "leaking" when in use. You stick it in your antifreeze jugs when winterizing and it sucks it into the pump and out thru the lines.

X5 valve is to isolate fresh water tank so you only draw from the anti-freeze jug when running water pump for winterization.
