I noticed the scare light on my 345rf was on while I was setting up the trailer on Friday night. I later tried to turn the light off with the switch and it would not go off. Next I removed all 12 volt fuses one at a time twice and the light stayed on the whole time. I also took both wires off the back of the switch in the control panel and still stayed on. I finally gave up and took the bulb out. Any ideas on how the light is staying on?
Thanks,
Chris

I think it has to be shut off with the remote. I don't own such a thing but am sure It's what I found out here.

I don't have that remote either, but I agree with CWIT. I believe the
circuit is powered via an inline fuse and needs to be turned off with
the remote. I also think I have read here that once turned off with the
remote, it can then be turned on/off with the switch. Do a search on
this forum for more info as it has been discussed several times.

Ah, been there, done that. I had this same issue this summer. I even disconnected the wires from the switch for the scare light. It is, indeed, dealt with by using the remote control.

You need to go to the remote control for your slideouts. On there is a button that looks like a little light bulb with some, uh, "rays" coming out of it. That's the master control that'll let you turn off the scare light.

Push the light icon button once. If the light doesn't go off, don't push it again. First, go into your trailer and see if the switch for the light is "on" on the control panel. If that doesn't work, then push the remote control light button again.

When this first happened to us, we ended up taking the bulb out of the light fixture til some kind soul on this forum told me what the problem was.
