I'm getting ready to mount my folding Porta-Bote under my 30SK and I'm wondering what the best way to do that would be.

I think I'd like to bolt or screw the mounts to the frame. If I were to use big metal screws I wouldn't have to cut through the membrane, I don't think. I'm just not sure if they could hold the weight. The boat weighs around 70 pounds and the weight would be distributed over six fasteners.

If I were to drill holes and bolt it on I would have to cut through the membrane.

I think there will be three hangers over the ten feet of boat I have. Any great ideas out there???
