Warantee issues

We recently purchased the Hampton 380CK that has had a few warrantee issues. We had them addressed and now the company that did the work has sent us a bill for travel expenses. Our trailer is a 40' park model, permanently parked with a deck and awning attached. It cannot be moved. This company, Camper's World expected us to bring the trailer to them or be charged the travel fee. We were not notified of the fee until they were half way through the repairs...The fee they are charging is over $500. Does anyone have any ideas? or has anyone else run into this issue and if so how was it resolved? I have sent an email to Crossroads but haven't heard any response back yet. Thank you

Calling customer service will get you a faster response. I've emailed Lynn a couple times and he didnt get back to me even though I had an open claim.

They get swamped with calls and those apparently get the priority.

Read your owners manual it states it is up to you to provide your unit to dealer for warranty work

Keep after your dealer - Ours tried that and I told service rep to talk to my sales rep - unit was sold on basis of ON SITE repairs/warranty work.

Be a B*** about it.

You are 100% correct.

Many of us here on the forum did not have any success with the dealer and worked directly with Crossroads for warranty work.
