Hey All,

So we're contemplating our August vacation, and we're thinking about heading through Glacier park and the Flathead National Forest in MT. We'll be coming down via the Carway border crossing, and then heading through Browning, and then into the park. Planning on camping in or around Kallispell and Polson for about 10 days.

I've never been through this area. How's driving through there on US Route 2? Anything I should be worried about?

Also, we're looking at the Polson KOA and the West Glacier KOA. Anyone have any reviews/thoughts on those campgrounds?

Thanks!

Hwy 2 is nice. Road is good and not much traffic. You can take your time and enjoy the trip. We stayed at the KOA. Was very nice. Also spent some time around Polson. If you have time, go to Polebridge to visit and buy bakery. The road is a little rough. We just went with the truck. It's a hike and well worth the fresh baked goods.
