Has anyone had trouble with bedroom slide. Ours clunks when you put it out and kind of drops down. So far it has come in ok. Also is there a way to manually bring it in.

I think that may be the same slide system we have and the mechanics are under the bed. If you raise the bed and the center section is raised you should be able to remove the thin piece of wood they use for a cover and access the slide system. There should be a large bolt head on the end you can use a socket and ratchet on to bring the slide in if it won't come in on it's own. Hope this helps.

I have an 05 PP and it is the screw type slide. Here are some pictures of the slide motor and nut you need to turn to get it in and out. I watched in run in and out and I think it turned hundreds of times. I guess it would be one heck of a job but if the motor does not work you can get it in to move it down the road. I am thinking if you are getting a any sounds or dropping of the slide I would guess it might be a roller someplace.

here are some pictures of mine and yours might be the same. Hope this might help

Just another good reason to have a rachet set in your toolbox!
