Welcome to the forum! There is a lot of helpful advice here!

Do you pick up your trailer in 18 days? If so, pay close attention during the PDI (pre-delivery inspection). Make sure everything works properly, that all the doors and windows open and close properly, etc. If something major shows up, you may want to refuse delivery until it is rectified. Some things are difficult to get fixed as dealers often have trouble getting the right parts, etc. It took us a year and a half to have all our warranty issues addressed, and that didn't happen until we took it back to the factory!

Welcome and congrats. Videotape your pdi. Make them demo everything and you return the demo. If it turns on, off, opens, closes, etc check it. Even boil a cup of water in the microwave (learned this one the hard way). Investigate all seals and the roof for leaks, cracks etc. If it is a travel trailer get a good wdh. Either 5er or tt have them show you the hitching and hitching process and you return the process. Practice this again when you get home. Most importantly post pics here after pick up!

Definitely do the video tape of the PDI. Have your wife record EVERYTHING while you watch, learn and do. My wife and I did this and the day I needed to find the manual crank receptacle I watched the video to find it. Had no idea where it was even after looking for an hour.

great idea about the video --- but break it up by 'system' or area so it's not one long video... then it's easier to find what you WILL want to review again

good luck !
