Check the slideouts. If any of them are the schwintek style, make sure you open and close them a few times to make sure they work properly. There were quite a few issues with this system in 2011 and 2012 models.

Thank you for your reply, the slides do not have bars running along the side of the slide out would that indicate it is not a schwintek style?

I have a 2013 CF345RF. No Schwintek slides on this unit. There were no significant changes between 2012 and 2013 and we have been very happy with our unit. Very few problems - only thing we have replaced so far on warranty was the water pump. As with any trailer purchase, a good thorough pre-delivery inspection is critical and make sure everything is fixed to your satisfaction before you complete the purchase. I have nothing bad to say about this unit and if you want you can check out my review of our unit here. We absolutely loved the floor plan and I had the option to purchase a couple different 2012'sand 2013's and just ended up getting the most options, my wife's desired color scheme, and best price on the 2013.

Thank you wildwildwest, we looked at this yesterday and the wife loves the floor plan not to mention the fireplace, it's a 2012 that they have had on the lot for awhile price is right at $30,000, I own a 2010 F350 triton V10 4.10 gears I think I should be ok to tow with what is your opinion on the tow vehicle

The V10 will handle this trailer no problem - loaded we are at about 12,100 lbs according to the scales. You won't like your gas mileage but it has a good 5 speedtransmission and lots of low end torque. You will feel it a little more in the steep grades than with a diesel, but it's certainly not a deal breaker. If you find it performs less than you expect in a few years, I would consider the 2011 and up 6.7L with the 6 speed transmission - amazing tow vehicle. There is a lot of demand for those V10s now since they aren't putting them in the Super Duty anymore.

Definitely a great price - I would snap it up at that price in a heartbeat. We picked up our 2013 last fall for $41,000 and the best price we found on a 2012 at the time was $39,500. You will still have the 2+5 year warranty because of the manufacture date being before September, 2012. We also have that warranty on our unit. Not significantly different than the new 1 year in that not all things are covered for 2 years on the unit due to specific manufacturer warranties being only 1 year.

Again thank you for you input wildwildwest very much appreciated, after reading your post it has put my mind at ease I was getting concerned about CR with all the negative posts on this forum but you have helped make my decision a lot easier, I hope to pick the unit up next week and before I put it away I will most likely make a few of the modification you mentioned to it so it will be ready for the may long weekend. Again thanks for you inputand help.

Good luck with the purchase. If there are any issues, hopefully you can address them before winter so that the dealer can take care of it in the off season. As fast as they put these units out these days it doesn't surprise me that there are some quality issues out there, but I expected that since I wasn't paying $100,000 for a unit - I'm realistic about that. I would definitely consider the upgrade to the bed frame as a priority.

Dont take the negative posts to indiciate poor construction. The percentage of happy people probably outweight the unhappy ones. Hope fully they all get resolved.
Our 2012 Z1 has been trouble free, any small issues were handled quickly to my satisfaction over the phone. Parts were shipped to my door, and i installed myself.
It has features that other more expensive units we have owned did not have.
Good luck with your choice!

Don't have that model (have 2013 335ss)but we're really happy with ours. Put on about 2200 miles 0f traveling and camping and had very few problems. (awning light and 1 slide adjustment).
Good luck with your purchase and hope you enjoy it as much as ours.

Hello, we have a 2012 345rf, when we were looking to trade to a 5th wheel from a travel trailer we looked at many different models in a certain price range, in our opinion this floor plan, color scheme, was the best we viewed, for the price you have quoted, I too would say buy it .

Check out the last page of the 4,500 cruiser review I did. I also screwed the 2x3 down the middle on both sides of the plywood seam and added screws at the headboard end closest to the wall.
