For the folks that live in the northern cold weather climates do you remove the flat screen tvs during winter storage?

23 views and nobody has a thought if they are going to leave their TV in the trailer during the winter (Northern Climates). For those that have had your rig fora couple yearsdo you leave your TVs in the trailer during winter storage? I'm just wondering if the extreme cold will cause any issues.

Thanks.

I've had no issues with mine. Just don't use the tv in the extreme cold.

I leave and LCD and an LED flat screen in our trailer with no problems. When we head south in early January each year we just let the trailer warm up good before we turn on either TV and we have never had a problem.

I do the same as Dale and Carol. However, My winters only get down to the single digits. If Michigan gets much colder than that, you might call the manufacturer. I have never had any issues in 6 years.

Leave them in the trailer - no issues here either - have had 10 below zero weather a few times.

I've left GPS units, LED TV's, and LCD's outside with no issues. Heck my wife's van has a LCD entertainment center for the kids and one upfront for vehicle status.

We purchased our ST25RB December 2011,Took deliveryFebruary 2012 for our inaugral trip to Florida. Our Crossroads Travel Trailer as well as maybe 50 others in the dealer lot spent the entire winter outside with LCD TV's inside. So I don't think you need to remove and store them over the winter. Just don't turn TV on until after it has warmed up possibly for 1/2 day to room temperature. Edited by: Tonemeister
