Camping at Spirit of Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Fl.

We just returned from camping at the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park over the Thanksgiving Holiday and will not return. If you like the rowdy style type of camping then you may enjoy camping there. We arrived on Tuesday night and it wasn't bad but it was also raining all afternoon and night with not many campers there, but the next day campers starting to arrive and the campground was filling up. It seemed every camper there had at least one golf cart and about half of those had boosted radios or media players with their music up full blast and all you hear is the constant thump, thump, thump of the bass as they just continuosly cruise around the campground or noisy gas powered golf carts. That lasted till almost 11:00 PM Wednesday night, the next day it lasted till almost midnight, along with kids riding around singing at the top of their lungs and large gatherings being very loud, so not wanting to put up with it another night we departed for home earlier than had planned. Also they have Wi-Fi which was good the first night but being unable to keep up with a full campground, it was mostly unusable the rest of the time.

Oh, and I forgot to add that also if you like the cramped camping style also, you will probably like camping there. Their campsites are set up so that you are back to back with the next camper and if your camper is set up like ours with your largest windows on the back side then your view is of another camper very close to yours.

It is predominately an outdoor music venue so not real surprised.
