Bathroom fan

OK, I need some great advice from all of you DIYers. We hate that horribly loud and irritating fan that came with our Zinger. It is the most basic one I am sure.

What have any of used as a replacement? Is the fantastic fan the only thing out there? Is it worth it? The current fan has to go before our next trip!

Thanks, Jean.

I replaced our crappy fan, which had a bad connection and only worked occasionally, with a Create-A-Breeze Fan. Also installed the Fan-tastic cover.

As soon as I got my trailer home, I upgraded that lousy excuse for a bath fan.

I went with the Maxxair 75000K with remote. I spent less than 2 hours to install and ordered it from Amazon.

One year later and still loving the fan. Moves a ton of air and quiet on the lower settings.

Our new 5er came with a fantastic fan. It is wired into a light switch on the wall. It is quieter and moves more air but not sure it's enough of a difference to make you happy.

I take it you have one of those 4 inch fans now.

Here is the best thing about Fantastic Fan, they back their product 100%.
I had a problem with one of their fans in my old 5er, I called them and they talked to me on the phone until we found the problem. It turned out to be an easy fix. I was very happy to see that customer service still means something to some American companies. Too many just provide LIP SERVICE.

Amazon has a nice selection of fans to convert your present one with better features.
I had installed Vortex in a Montana Big Sky. Big difference.

OhioMark, Any difficulties replacing the fans on the arched roof? I can't afford to jack up the roof of my 3 month old TT.

I was also concerned about that. Actually, our AC leaked and I took it to Crossroads and it wasn't sealed for that very reason, but the AC is on the peak.

Our fan is offset enough on the roof that it didn't cause me any issues. Your bath looks like it is in the same place from the layout Crossroads posted.

I figured If they got the fan/vent secured and sealed you have up there now, you shouldn't have any issues. Just plan for a full day when you have dry weather. I bought an install kit with my fan here --> http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Assuming you have the beige roof, you will also need a tube of the Dicor almond self leveling lap sealant for the job.

There are few videos on youtube that walk you through the job. I have the Maxx Fan, so I watched this one.
