x3 on the CIPA mirrors. Two seasons of towing wtih them and nothing but good things to say. Inexpensive, fit snug on the factory mirror, and look sharp.

Add another vote for CIPA towing mirrors. I've been using my current set for at least 3 seasons and they're as good as new. Easy on and off and no vibration.

These look really good. We are using the strap on now and don't like the vibration. Our truck mirrors are painted to match the truck, do these scratch the paint?

No, they shouldn't scratch paint. They have a plastic cradle inside that matches the contour of the back of the mirror, and the cradle is lined with felt.

My set did wear the plastic a bit in one area where mud got in there and rubbed a bit. I had a soupy mess at a campground and subsequently had mud and debris get in there. No worries for me since my mirrors are solid black plastic.

Point is, you need to keep the inside of the sleeve clean. debris can get in there and work the finish like sandpaper.
