Even though it's the south, we get cold too (we will see single digits on occasion). Yes we leave our tv in as well, never had a problem.

Even though we go south for the winter, we do not take it out before we leave, and it does get cold before we leave.

No reason to take it out as long as it's not turned on creating condensation.

The only reason I can see for taking the TV out is if your trailer is stored in a place that is not totally secure and it could get broken into. It happened to someone I know. His TV was stolen. It was some kind of storage lot.
