I also talked to one of the towing experts at RV Lifestyle Magazine yesterday and after giving him all my current info he was of the same opinion as you. He also gave me some more suggestions to check on GVWR and hitching setup as you also noted was important. My 2007 Trailblazer only has 46,000 miles on it and is in top shape which is also part of the equation. My estimate fully loaded trailer will be approx. 4200 to 4300# max.

Correction.....the 4200 to 4300# also includes 400# for people &amp; dog.
