Have a question about this digital thermostat in our Cruizer. If the AC is on, and park power is lost (power outage) will the AC resume operation when the power is restored??

I know it will with the old fashioned "slider" type non digital ones, but how about the digital ones?? We travel with our "fuzzy butted daughter" and she stays behind in the coach while we explore and photograph for our business. I am afraid that in the heat of summer, if there is a temporary power drop, the air will not come back on and she may become seriously distressed and overheated until we return.

The owners manual for the thermostat says "In the event the power to the airconditioner or control is interrupted, the system will restart with the previous set points once power is restored."

Does this mean the air WILL restart, but at the default 72 degrees?? (which would be fine), or are they saying the thermostat will be back to factory set points?

Don't have a heavy enough power drop at home to go turn on the air and try it to see.

Thanks! Bob

Sitting at your house it's plugged into an outlet, correct? That outlet is on a circuit breaker. Turn on the AC and set it then turn the circuit breaker off, wait an hour and turn it back on and see what happens. If it comes back up like you set it all is well.

It will come on at the same setting where it went off.

Avvidcliff, I would try that but I don't have heavy enough power dropat home (yet LoL ) to be able to run the air.
