The Dodge did well, we were able to run at 70 MPH with the RPMs between 2000 and 2500. On the grades it would usually kick up to about 3000 to hold at 70. MPG still sucked (around 9.0), but that's a gasser for you. Cost about $200 in fuel for the 750 mile round trip. Gas averaged about $2.65. Filled up near Shipshe on Saturday for $2.59. Station near IN pike was $2.69 and on the IN pike it was $2.99. Glad I didn't need it there! It may be a Dodge, but it works for me and I think I'll keep it.

We had a great time too. The diet has restarted. We can hardly wait for next year and to see new friends during our travels. Thanks again to Denny and Susan for putting it together and to Crossroads for all they did.
Pam took a bunch of pictures.

Had a great time at the 09 Rally. Denny, I have the sewer hose that you put out. All you have to do is remind me to bring it. Next year we need to keep the Corn Hole Trophy from being taken across the boarder to Canada.

Hey Chris and Ruth,
Wish we would have known that about the Gateway toll. We hit that on Wed on our way home and were shocked.

Thanks, Denny and Crossroads fora great time. This was our first rally and we really enjoyed it. The power jack, door prize, was an added bonus. I hope we are able to make it next year. It was great meeting everyone.
I have news for Larry Weaver. Our BTU's did not keep our BUTT cool on Monday. We were at a Marina campground in OHonLakeEriewith no shade. 100 outside 85 inside with AC running non-stop. Next time I will upgrade the AC unit. I was just glad we weren't in AZ.

I can guess the look on your face was probably the same as mine was a couple of years ago . We stayed on I-80 and came home a different route. It probably added about 15 minutes to the trip, but only added about 10 miles. One gallon of gas vs. the Gateway toll - I figure I came out ahead on that deal!

This post is long overdue, It's been busy lately. The '09 rally was one of the best rallies yet. I've enjoyed all the rallies, and each has been special in different ways. I enjoy putting on the rally, meeting new people andseeing people return. I have pictures from the rally & need to get them posted as well, now that winter is getting closer I may have more time to get them posted.
First I want to thank all that attended the rally, this year was a great group of people. My reward for doing the rally is seeing people come together that haven't met till the weekend of the rally & make new friends that they keep in touch with. Of course I need to thank Dave Boggs and the entire CrossRoads RV organaization for their help with the rally. Without CrossRoads RV, the rally wouldn't be possible (nor would we need to have the rally). Also, Shipshewana Campground are teriffic hosts and go out of their way to help support us and provide a great facility that we have to just us!! And I want to thank Leanna & Melvin Yoder of M&L Acres for the terrific food that gives us the energy to keep going all weekend. Although after I get done eating the food they provide, I feel like taking a nap??
Once again, thanks to all!!

Gee Whizz I go a way for the day, and Denny reappears, Don is back, and they are trolling for Chris. Be still my heart. The only thing that could be any better if Ed Luskey showed back up

Don I find it very difficullt to believe that you have nothing to say, after all it has been close to three years since you joined. Is mailbox boy hiding from the IRS or or just learning to use smoke signals??? It is time for Truck wars part 3 winter is here for you guys up north, thought maybe you would have the first shot
