I thought I would share with you some of the places wevisit when we stay at campground north.
Deutsch Kase Haus

This is the cheese factory just west of Shipshe on 250 N. You can watch cheese being made here, using milk from local farmers. We buy lots of cheese, which can be frozenfor useat a later date.
Miller's Buggy Line Tours
www.buggyline.com
We've used their services, taking the Grandkids for rides around Shipshe-fun...fun...fun.
Shipshewana Flea Market
www.TradingPlaceAmerica.com
You could spend all day here and not see it all. 2000 booths. Midwest's largest outdoor flea market. Open Tuesday and Wednesday. They even have chinese replicas of Amish things. Great place to spend the day.
Davis Mercantile Co.
www.DavisMercantile.com
Go to visit to see the construction of this building. There is a giant tree in the middle of the building. We like their quilt shops for supplies. Upscale, beautiful stuff in the various shops within the building.
Dutch Country Market
574 825 3594
5.5 miles west of Shipshe on 250 N. Building lighted by gas lights. We buy our homemade noodles by the case here. You can watch Amish ladies making noodles. Lots of other things here including great honey products--the guys are Indiana beekeepers so it is all local honey.
Yoder's Meat & Cheese Co.
www.YodersMeatShoppe.com
Believe it or not, meat that is natural-fed, with no added growth hormones, steroids, or by-products. This is the first store where I ever bought products without seeing them first. We go there 2-3 times a year to buy our freezer supplies. They have products ready for the freezer, so bring your coolers. Don't worry about the products, they will be top quality.
For the best kettle corn try the fellow, with the big copper kettle, on the South side of this building.
Yoder's Shopping Center
Yoder's Department Store
www.YoderDepartmentStore.com
Yoder's Hardware
www.YodersHardware.com
Department store has quilt goods, hats, shoes, boots and Crocs, clothing and misc.
Hardware store has stuff of all kinds. You'll like it here-rocking chairs in the hallway for you while she shops.
Hope you can work all this in while visiting Indiana and CrossRoads factory at Topeka.
Thanks for listening.
