Stan

Good to hear from you. We have done a couple of weekend trips so far this season also. When you are at PEI we will be at the shore for 8 days with the grandkids.

Think I found a nice campground for the May 2014 Rally. Still working on it. Summer is going by fast.

PS.---.Stay safe tell Emmy we said HI!!!Edited by: sleepyT

The Northeast Cruiser Rally will be Thursday May 1st to Sunday May 4th. It's the same weekend every year. Hope you all can come.

actually we don't smoke the ribs we bake and then grill them. Perfected the ribs. now learning how to smoke. Probably will bring the ribs since you all seem to like them.

Try smoking them - you'll never want to go back!

Aileen and Anthony,

Bring the ribs and the smoker. Make sure to bring hickory or mesquite chips or chunks.

I am sure that several folks will be happy to guide you through the smoking process, although some cold ones would sweeten the pot.

Stan, Joe, Tony - are you in as instructors for the newbie smoking clinic?

never go anywhere without the cold ones. For smokers, we have 2. A hand me down electric one or one that is the charcoal gill/smoker combo (indirect smoker on the side). Do we bring chips and charcoal or larger pieces of mesquite or hickory?

Either will work, but I have more experience with the chips and charcoal. I have no experience with an electric smoker, but the concept is the same - we could learn together.

Had a charcoal smoker for years...bought a gas smoker to replace it. Love it!
