ST290QB Hitch Ball Height

Does anyone out here know what the top of the ball is supposed to be when the trailer is level front to back and measured to the top where the ball sits. Picking up new 2015 trailer Wednesday. Wanted to set up hitch before I get there and dealer said he measured 22" but seems low compared to previous trailers any help would b appreciated. Thanks

I also just installed a Roadmaster Active Suspension on my truck so now my receiver height is up nearly 2" so I have to buy a new longer drop shank to get this low for the ST290QB. It does seem rather low compared to my previous TT.

Anyone measured the level inside coupler height of their 290QB recently? I thought I had it written down but can't find it. Wanted to get an exact measureme t. Trying to install a new shank for my Equalizer but my trailer is sitting on soft ground so can't get an accurate measurement.

Ok figured it out. The level coupler height measured to the inside of the coupler is 20.5" to 21".

Just a word of caution though. I first tried using a magnetic level sticking it to the top of the coupler (welded section) in front of the jack. It said level, but this is apparently not a good place to put the it because it yielded the attached picture (22" to 22.5"). I then lowered the jack and measured the frame at the front and rear which gave me the 20.5" to 21" which is much more level.

That could help solve my nose high issue. I just went back through my measurements and I used 23"

This picture was with it hooked up with nothing in the front storage, no propane, nothing in the bed, wife kids in truck, and hitch ball at 21.5"-22". After hooking up WD my rear dropped 2" and front stayed the same as before measurement.
