Here's a link that indicated 8' exactly. I'd add an inch or two to your opening to be safe and then add your extra margin of error.

Not to mention the added width of your awning. Depending on your gate height, you are better to plan for 10' width, 9' would be a tight drive through the gate with very little leeway.

You want 10 feet minimum. I pull into a storage barn with my 300BH and the door is around 15 feet wide, but when I pull in at a bit of an angle it eats up all the spare space and it stills a tight fit.

I have a 10ft. double gate to my back yard. I highly doubt I would ever attempt to back our Zinger thru that gate. You should use 10ft. as a MINIMUM.

I don't know how much straight approach you have to your gate, but the less straight approach you have the wider you will want the gate to be. I have just over 20 feet of width backing into my driveway over the ditch sluice pipe. As I have a 90 degree turn off a narrow country road I use a good portion of that width.

Thanks everyone. I have 11 feet 1 inch so it should be OK. Straight drive way to 25 foot pad with lots of clearance behind it.

You are good. I just backed my 5er into the shop yesterday afternoon for winter storage and my door is 10' wide. I don't have a lot of leeway with that width but it fits. Your gate is plenty wide.

I pull mine through a 9' 6" wide gate to get it into my backyard. The post that the gate is attached to is attached directly to the house, so it is only about 3" more to the house from the gate opening.

Nope, just been driving cars for decades. In fact, this is my first pickup, and I haven't had it a year yet. I used to pull my TT with a TrailBlazer, and it was very narrow compared to the Silverado. The next time I pull the 5er through the gate, I'll get someone to take a picture.

The ops gate is already in place, but remember that the opening is actually a little smaller that the stated gate size unless built to that exact size. For example using a 12 ft chain link gate panels, the gate panels are right at 5.5 ft. Add in the hardware and your opening is just probably just under 11.5 ft. 10ft just under 9.5 ft etc.
