It sounds like this has been resolved and that is good. If not, the OP could get his insurance to fix it and let the insurance company go after CW for reimbursement.
Maybe in NC, but not in WI.

Check into Bailee insurance coverage. If a person rents out space for RV storage and due to whatever it burns down. The renters can sue him for their loss. That's what Bailee insurance covers, keeping the property owner from being sued. They pay for the losses.

It's a standard type of commercial insurance, look it up.

Renting out your own personal garage, barn or property for storage is not always a commercial business. Seems only "commercial" businesses can get the insurance.

Call yourself ABC Storage and get a DBA and then you can get a policy. It is for commercial businesses.

The situation is very disturbing and I would tend to agree with all those who suggested you reach out to your insurance company and GET A LAWYER involved. Just for kicks, called my friend and salesman for my Cruiser and he did a little digging...found out that it the responsibility of the DEALER for any damage done while on their property, UNLESS it is there for storage purposes only. If there for storage, it would be (should be) covered by your insurance. Definitely do your homework.
