Anybody know the area? Does El Paso & I-39 have a truckstop; , McDonalds; , or someplace that'll let us fill up fresh water tank?

El Paso has multiple choices right off 39, There's a Shell, Casey's and a Freedom. The Freedom and Casey's is down the road about a 1/4 mile East of the Shell. Not sure if they have free water or not, I know some places just want you to buy fuel from them, just depends on the person working I guess.

Most of the regulars at comlara use the water for everything but drinking, we always bring drinking water with us. the water out there doesn't taste that good but if you drain your hot water tank at the end of the weekend it will be alright. I will be camping tomorrow and will post if the water has a boil order or not, it was ok yesterday so I think were good. the fishing has been ok last week.

when they have a problem with the water supply they will hang a tag on the pumps stating to boil the water before use. right now they are not tagged but the main bath house has a note stating that coliform bacteria is present in the water there.

You can always call the park at 1-309-434-6770 to inquire about the water. The bathhouse water has the sign up, but as mdrucker has stated none of the park spigots are tagged. The water quality here is not that great on a good day, so most do bring their own drinking water.
The weather looks to be absolutely great this weekend. As far as a pass a dish, I am maybe thinking a MONSTER BREAKFAST/BRUNCH on Sunday morning as we prepare to say our goodbyes for the season. Given all of the various arrival times, this might be the best option to be sure everyone can participate. Again, we can decide as a group which would work out for everyone....

Initial plans right now for those that are interested is to visit the Lake Road Inn on Friday night for the All U can EAT FISH dinner....Reservations are still in place for Saturday at Medici's in uptown normal for those that are interested as well....

Front lower corner under behind mini-fridge seemed to have ate a piece of carpet between gear & rack.

Pulled everything apart & cleared but Buttom front won't go in. Bob & me had to push that corner in to get kitchen slide to close. Under cabinet things poped & now there is lots of little parts & a bearning.
Now, have to get w/ CrossRoads about repairing . . .
Hoping "Randy" will have an opening schedule to "repair."

Sorry to hear about your guys slide issues.....Thanks to everyone who showed up to make the weekend a GREAT way to close out the camping season....at least for us anyway....

FINIALLY, got a returned call from CrossRoards RV! All young man would say is your trailer is out of warranttee. Requested that he have his supervisor contact me. He said he'd send her an E-Mail . . .

I feel your pain I will be ordering yet another motor for my kitchen slide, and the outside wiper seals are tore up from the motor gears.
