Ohio State Parks

Just a heads up, if you have an Ohio State Parks rewards card, your points will expire on Dec. 31. They are upgrading the reservation system and old points will not carry forward.

Thanks for the heads up! BTW, not sure what part of the state yer'in but stayed at West Branch and really had a good time. It's in Ravenna. Showerhouses are immaculate and really quiet, even on the 4th weekend.

Our club camped at West Branch over the 4th. We try not to camp during the 4th with the dogs being sensitive to the fireworks. We still have Deer Creek, Geneva, and Punderson scheduled for this year.

We go to the State Parks here for the Fourth and New Years Eve. No fire works allowed. Here in the nieghbor hood it sounds like a large war going on. It makes nervous wrecks out of the pups

Maumee Bay gets my vote on best one I've been to in the state so far. Delaware gets a "D" in my book; goose poop beach! Nasty. Thanks for the heads up Antares, we'll make sure to use ours up.

We like Maumee Bay for our first camp in the spring. Right in the middle of migratory bird season, and the sites are big and dry.
Deer Creek is about a 4 hour tow for us to get to but it's high on our list. It is similar to Maumee Bay but has better water access for kayaking. We also like Punderson for that reason.
Salt Fork is nice but with as big as the park is, they really cram all of the sites together.
