Help find a leak?

running the shower this morning and notice water coming out of back corner of trailer opposite of sewer connection. Looking around noticed the small pull out kitchen was puddled up. Realizing that my hose was disconnected from the sink, the shower water seemed to be backed up and running out of that hose. Yes the black and grey tanks are opened, or at least released. If the camper is slightly leaning to one side, would this cause the tank to backflow?

I believe you nailed it, I've talked with a service man and he seems to think my shower might be clogged. It's draining really slow and I believe it's sharing the same drain line. I'm gonna try to snake it tonight when we get back in and see what happens. If that doesn't fix it he's coming Monday morning to take a look.

Are you absolutely sure the grey tank is emptying?

What are your tank levels showing at the control box?

Grey tank is emptying because when water is on it drains thru partially though. All my levels show empty when I check the gauges. When I get back I'm gonna turn water on other locations to see if water drains properly there.

off topic , but earlier you stated that the black tank was also open ....keep that one closed till at least 1/2-3/4 full.
hope you find the drain problem.

Be carefull about running a snake through the drains. The outside kitchens have the Hepvo valves. There might be one under the shower. If you snake it you could damage the bladder inside the valve. Check, just check.

here is the link that explains the valvle.

X2. Black tank should be kept closed with at least a few gallons of water in it at all times to prevent the dreaded stone mountain from building. If not at least 2/3 full when ready to dump, then fill with water until 2/3 full before dumping. Dump tank, flush until clear, then close add 3-5 gallons of water and desired tank treatment (I recommend the Geo method.) I usually use what's in th d grey tank to clean my drain line out after dumping black tank. Some keep grey open all the time, I prefer to keep it closed until full.

Thanks for this info.....my shower has not been draining. I believe I saw one of these devices in the line, and didn't know what it was. I can now remove it before doing harm to it..

for those interested, or in case another may view later down the road. I have a 270BH 2014 model the outside kitchen pull out has a 1 1/2" PVC pipe that drains into grey tank the shower drain "T's" into this pipe as well. my situation was that after the "T" was a small clog that wouldn't allow all the water to drain and the path of least resistance was back towards the sink of the outdoor kitchen. thanks again for all the advice and always appreciate every ones comments. this is the first place I go when I have a small situation.
