We have had a camping sign stolen in the past and would like to get a new one. The sign we are looking at is around 70 bucks. I was wondering if anyone had a way to lock the sign to the pin box to at least make it harder to take. I realize if someone wants something bad enough they will take it, but I at least want them to have to work for it. Thanks for any suggestions.

Now that's a new one!!! Why would anybody steel someone else's sign with their name on it?
Maybe look around for someone with the same name??

It didn't have our name on it, it just had a saying on it and I think a moose. We looked all over the campground for it. I'm sure it was kids being funny.

I don't know about locks but you might fasten some bells to the back so when they pick it up it makes noise. I'll bet they won't take it too far.

We hang ours on a lamp post that I made with a sign holder. I always move it beside the camper door at night and remove the sign. I know; alot of work. We had a whole cooler stolen at OBX one year. It was full of drinks and favorite beverages. However I'm sure the people that came in just for over night took it when they left the next morning while we were gone fishing. They were not friendly in their $300,000 Class A. Wouldn't even say hello. The campers across from us had been sitting out all morning and told us that the people beside of us were the only ones that were out and about. Now I either lock everything or store it. It's a Damn shame!

I must agree who would want someones sign ... name or not. We have been very lucky not to have anything walk away but I do lock up the bikes at night. Yes locking it up would only work on someone who really wants it. Sorry for the loss
